Hello!
Why not start exchanging useful links - to help you learn and me teach English?

Here is my first.

The site, though Ukrainian, is a very good pick for those who want to practice English on their own.
There are things to download too. Try it and write what you think about it.

Here is another one.

Though you have proved beyond any reasonable doubt that you  by NO means suffer from shopping bulimia, this site IS an on-line shop, which offers things for those who study English  and at very low prices.
Interested? Go to http://shop.englishhome.ru/

Please, do not buy everything at once - place a small order first.

There are two interesting links about the UK.

The Ukrainian site in the Russian language has a lot of info and pictures about the UK.

Here is another. The London tourism guide has a lot to offer.

http://www.franklang.ru/

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (or TOEFL, pronounced "toe-full" or sometimes "toffle") evaluates the potential success of an individual to use and understand Standard American English at a college level. It is required for non-native applicants at many English-speaking colleges and universities. Additionally, institutions such as government agencies, businesses, or scholarship programs may require this test. A TOEFL score is valid for two years and then is deleted from the official database. Colleges and universities usually consider only the most recent score.

The TOEFL test is a registered trademark of Educational Testing Service (ETS) and is administered worldwide. The test was first administered 1964 and has since been taken by nearly 20 million students.

This is a reference to a monster online dictionary of the rich colourful language we call slang... all from a British perspective, with new slang added every month.  Should you wish to do further research I have presented a selection of good source material... books, which can be found on the bibliography page.

If you are interested in American slang, try the following site Commonly-Used American Slang

http://www.manythings.org/slang/

This page has a good selection of slang dictionaries available online.

Good luck!

If you don't want to buy magazines with CDs, you can download audio-files from the Internet.
Here are two sites for you to use:

Good luck!
